GIVE ZEROS TO MUNDUBILE AND MAKEBI FOR PLAYING WITH A DEAD BODY, SAYS SAMPA.

Faction Patriotic Front President Miles Sampa says Toonse Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate, Makebi Zulu, should receive zero votes in Katete for allegedly playing politics with the body of former President Edgar Lungu.

Mr. Sampa questioned how Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu are able to continue campaigning when the body of the late Edgar Lungu has still not been buried.

He accused Mr. Mundubile and Mr. Zulu of not being serious leaders, saying that to them, everything is treated like a joke.

Speaking in Katete today, Mr. Sampa said that despite the courts allowing the family to bury Edgar Lungu at a location of their choice, they have continued to keep the body in the mortuary.

“These are not serious people. Everything to them is a joke. That is why they are joking with the body of former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu. The courts allowed them to bury him, but instead they came here and started using the body to campaign.

“Now they have even failed to campaign on their own, so they are using the body to campaign. What a shame. Despite failing in their respective constituencies, please make sure that here in Katete you give them zero votes so that they can learn not to play with dead bodies,” he said.
