CATHERINE served as diplomat in Brussel during the time of her father, in 1991 when Chiluba took over Catherine was transferred to Botswana until the time of her retirement.
She was staying in Namibia enjoying her fathers package that the Namibian government gave to Kaunda due to the liberation struggle of that country. Sam Nujoma gave Kaunda a fully furnished house, a salary and first class medical befitting a retired President.
The brief story I have shared with you is not out of speculations but an interview I had with her before she passed on.
Editors Note: Catherine passed on two days ago after a long battle with cancer.
