THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has sponsored former Chipolopolo Interim Coach Moses Sichone to undergo CAF A Licence training in Tanzania as part of efforts to empower local coaches.

FAZ Secretary General, Charles Chakatazya, says the sponsorship is aimed at widening the pool of qualified Zambian coaches eligible to manage national teams.

Chakatazya disclosed that the move follows the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) requirement that national team head coaches hold a minimum of a CAF A Licence. 

He said Sichone has already commenced the training with support from FAZ in collaboration with the Tanzania Football Federation.
