THE Copper Queens will face FIFA World Cup bound Denmark, in an international friendly in December, 2026.
Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) General Secretary Charles Chakatazya says the match will be played on December 5, 2026, in Esbjerg, Denmark.
Chakatazya observed that the fixture demonstrates the confidence and respect the Copper Queens continue to attract internationally.
He said the match will also help keep the team engaged as Zambia prepares for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers.
Chakatazya noted that the friendly is part of FAZ’s plans to regenerate the Copper Queens following their recent WAFCON campaign, which ended Zambia’s hopes of qualifying for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
This is according to a statement issued by FAZ Head of Media and Communications Nkweto Tembwe.
