JOB TITLE: LOGISTICS DISPATCHER SPECIALIST (OFFICER) Key Responsibilities Order Scheduling & Dispatch: Coordinate order scheduling, load allocation, and daily vehicle dispatching for local and long-distance transport. In-Transit Tracking & Timeline Management: Monitor fleet movements and in-transit cargo to ensure strict adherence to delivery schedules and turnaround times. Issue Resolution & Incident Management: Serve as the primary point of contact to handle transport delays, cargo damage, and operational emergencies. Documentation & Reconciliation: Manage PODs (Proof of Delivery), waybills, consignment notes, and maintain accurate operational registers/ledgers. Transporter & Driver Coordination: Maintain day-to-day communication with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transporters, and drivers. Reporting & Data Analytics: Compile operational data, track KPIs, and submit regular performance reports to management. Requirements & Qualifications Work Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in logistics dispatch, local/long-distance transport operations, route planning, and vehicle loading optimization. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is highly advantageous; strong knowledge of local road networks, major transit corridors, and route planning. Core Competencies: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with drivers, hauliers, and internal business units under fast-paced conditions. Professional Attributes: High attention to detail, strong accountability, and the flexibility to manage peak season shifts or urgent after-hours dispatches.
