The Board of Mwense Trades Training Institute (MwTTI) under the Ministry of Technology and Science of the Republic of Zambia, situated in Mwense in Luapula Province, is looking for a suitably qualified individual to fill the following position: LECTURER – ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (1) JOB PURPOSE To undertake the preparation and delivery of training to impart knowledge, attitudes and skills in students. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Prepare and deliver theoretical and practical learning of high standards. 2. Maintain a teaching file. 3. Assess students by administering assignments and tests. 4. Maintain students’ performance records. 5. Maintain order and discipline among students. 6. Participate in designing, marketing and implementation of viable programmes and projects. 7. Coordinate with other staff in ensuring institute objectives are achieved. 8. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE o Full Grade twelve (12) or equivalent Certificate with credits or better in five subjects including science and mathematics. o Minimum of Diploma in Electrical Engineering. o Diploma in Teaching methodology. o TEVETA accredited trainer as an added advantage. o Two (2) years teaching/practical experience preferably in a TEVET Institution. o Good facilitation and interpersonal skills. o Honest, hardworking, and dependable.
