Job Profile: ICT Officer. Business Overview: Altus Group of Companies offers a diversified portfolio of financial services ranging from Lending, Savings, Insurance, and other financial Solutions. Summary of Profile: The preferred candidate should have a direct hands-on approach to addressing basic IT administration, hardware/IT asset management and supporting the core ICT based systems and users, respectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing end-user technologies, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining the company’s computer systems. Core responsibilities description: • 1. End User Technology Support: • Oversee the support of end-user technologies that are critical to the core business delivery platforms. • • Address user requests and technical issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted business operations. • • 2. IT Equipment Administration: • Manage the administration of all IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, devices, and servers. • • Service internal customer requests within the defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). • • 3. Network and Systems Management: • Manage network infrastructure, remote networks, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and system connectivity. • • Provide technical support and ensure the smooth functioning of the entire company’s network systems. • • 4. System Monitoring and Maintenance: • Monitor and maintain system disruptions, downtimes, and technical problems. • • Perform system installations, change management, and resolve technical issues promptly. • • 5. User Management: • Maintain user activations and rights management, IT asset registers, and user alert monitoring. • • Create and manage an IT Management Information System (MIS) platform for accurate reporting and access for end-users. • • 6. Vendor Management: • Ensure technology support vendors adhere to strict SLAs. • • Implement and manage IT costs to achieve financial efficiencies. • • 7. Change Management: • Maintain change management processes and governance structures. • • Preserve audit trails and provide reporting to directors. • • 8. New Technology Management: • Support the implementation of new technologies and ensure successful go-lives. • Create a digital stack of technologies that in the new future will be used to offer services to end clients via Web, USSD, interactive web designs and CRM. • Manage database systems, licensing, renewals, backup processes, and IT office tools. • IT Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering would be preferred. • Minimum 4-6 years’ experience. • Hands-on experience in IT administration, Hardware and basic IT software management. • Other IT trainings, tertiary education or courses would carry a relevant advantage. • A technical, logical thought process to problem-solving skills • Communication skills- with project references would be an added advantage. • Handson approach and work references would be an added advantage. 9. Basic IT Administration: Professional attributes, Qualities and Educational Qualifications Reporting to: Director. Direct reporting:
