Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily dispatch operations, stock picking, and site traffic flow. The ideal candidate will manage warehouse assistants, enforce safety and security standards, and ensure accurate order fulfillment in accordance with the Zambian Employment Code Act and local industrial practices. Key Responsibilities Stock & Order Preparation: Process waybills and Material Requisition Forms (MRFs); coordinate with warehouse sections to ensure accurate staging of goods. Traffic & Dispatch Management: Coordinate vehicle access and yard traffic, directing delivery/collection trucks to loading bays in orderly sequence. Verification & Quality Control: Perform double-check audits on staged items against waybills for quantity and condition before passing to the Operations Manager or Site Supervisor for final sign-off. Team Supervision & Loading: Direct warehouse assistants and loaders during loading/unloading operations, enforcing proper material handling to minimize product damage. Housekeeping & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure staging areas, pallets, strapping belts, hand trucks, and material handling equipment are cleaned, secured, and neatly stored at the end of each shift. HSE & Security Compliance: Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace; monitor warehouse activities to prevent inventory shrinkage, theft, or unauthorized access. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Grade 12 Certificate with full credits (including Mathematics and English); Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), Logistics and Transport (CILT), or equivalent is preferred. Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations, dispatch management, or inventory control. Key Skills: High level of numerical accuracy and stock counting skills; strong supervisory and communication abilities; detail-oriented and accountable.
