The key purpose of this role is to provide specialised Artisan skills and knowledge to the team, and to support the operations, maintenance and problem-solving activities of the teams. Key outputs and responsibilities: Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment Comply with safe, health and environmental procedures and legislation Maintain safety and housekeeping standards Maintain, Repair plant equipment and associated devices Locate plant equipment, spares and relevant documentation/ systems Plan and prepare the job Carry out repairs/maintenance Continuously improve (optimise) plant, process, equipment and systems Work in Teams Communicate effectively in teams. Contribute to self and team development Applying problem solving processes, find and eliminate the root cause Use the root causes analysis tools for problem solving, these include: 5 Why, Abnormality Report Report, Fishbone diagram, Pareto chart, Scarter diagram, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis Optimizing plant performance in terms of productivity, quality, delivery, cost and safety Excellent machine condition and process parameters Continuous discipline to drive spending and cost reduction, while maximizing business values Key attributes and competencies: Self-Management skills. People handling ability. Mental alertness, analytical and problem-solving skills. Conceptual skills. Engineering Specialist SME – Subject matter expert. Maintenance Problem Solving Continuous Improvement Apply the VPO Principles and practices. Education Min- Trades Certificate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) Experience Training: Min – 3 – 5 years in a FMCG production environment 1-2 Years technical mechanical and electrical experience in a FMCG environment Process Artisan, Maintenance artisan Additional information: Band: X AB InBev is an equal opportunity employer and all appointments will be made in-line with AB InBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
