WE ARE HIRING DRIVERS DS Fast Courier Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified, responsible and experienced drivers to join our growing team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent. Valid Zambian Class C Driver’s Licence. At least three years of verifiable professional driving experience. Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations. Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection, maintenance and minor fault identification. Good knowledge of Zambian roads, border routes and traffic regulations. Ability to use smartphones, GPS and electronic navigation systems. Good communication, customer-service and record-keeping skills. Willingness and ability to travel throughout Zambia and abroad, including overnight assignments. Honest, disciplined, physically fit, dependable and able to work under minimal supervision. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Safely transport parcels, goods and company property to assigned destinations. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects immediately. Maintain accurate delivery notes, trip sheets, fuel records and vehicle logs. Load, secure and offload consignments carefully. Obtain signatures and other proof of delivery from customers. Plan efficient routes and ensure deliveries are completed on time. Comply with road-traffic laws, border requirements and company procedures. Keep assigned vehicles clean, secure and in good operating condition. Protect confidential customer and company information. Report accidents, delays, losses or delivery incidents immediately. Provide professional and courteous service to customers. Undertake local, interprovincial and international trips as assigned.
