Lushomo Trust Grace Centre is currently looking for a qualified person to urgently fill the position of COMMUNICATION/ EDUCATION OFFICER. ORGANISATIONAL PROFILE Lushomo Trust Grace Centre is a community-based project located in Kazungula District along Mambova road. The Centre is a TEVETA-accredited institution offering free skills training programs and also supports vulnerable girls with education sponsorship in primary and secondary schools. QUALIFICATION Diploma in Teaching (En glish/Literature). Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching service Experience as a Communication/ Education Officer will be an added advantage. Good command of English, both written and spoken Strong communication skills, both written and spoken Preferably, Teveta accredited KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To ensure effective communication with the Coordinator regarding educational programs To identify and recruit new girls for sponsorship. Organizing tuitions, reviewing the girls’ books and teaching them in their weaker subjects. Attending to school Open Days and collecting the School reports. Attending PTA meetings. To compile termly academic performance results and forward to the coordinator. Coordinate the education programs for the sponsored girls in every school and to make sure they are attending school regularly.
