Chief Financial Officer – CFO Loanco Financial Services Limited — Lusaka Full time | Subject to Bank of Zambia Fit and Proper approval Loanco is a Bank of Zambia licensed Non-Bank Deposit-Taking Microfinance Institution. We lend to formally employed people and collect principally through payroll deduction. The Board is required to appoint a suitably qualified Zambian, resident in Zambia, as Chief Financial Officer. This is a regulated key-person role. The role Own the finance function in Lusaka: statutory and prudential reporting to the Bank of Zambia, management accounts, treasury and cash, tax, IFRS 9 on the loan book, audit, and the finance team. You report to the CEO. You work with the Group CFO. You sit in front of the Audit Committee. You must have · Zambian nationality and residence in Zambia · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent · Completed professional qualification: ACCA, CIMA or CA(Z) member, with current ZICA membership · At least eight years’ progressive finance experience, of which five years in a senior role inside a bank, microfinance institution or other financial service provider supervised by the Bank of Zambia · Proven delivery of BoZ / regulatory returns, IFRS financials and external audit · Clean integrity record sufficient for Fit and Proper (security clearance, questionnaire, referees) You will not be considered if you are an affiliate or technician-level only, if your experience is confined to general commerce or outsourced accounting, or if you cannot take up residence and full-time office in Lusaka.
