Key Responsibilities • Perform bookkeeping and accounting-related tasks for clients. • Assist with preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory filings. • Handle company secretarial and PACRA compliance work. • Assist with ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA, WCF and other regulatory compliance requirements. • Conduct follow-ups with relevant regulatory institutions where required. • Maintain accurate client records, statutory documents and compliance schedules. • Assist with reconciliations, data capturing and preparation of accounting records. • Identify outstanding compliance issues and take the necessary steps to resolve them. • Research and determine the correct procedures where a client or regulatory issue is unclear. • Visit government institutions, banks and other relevant offices when physical follow-up is required. • Ensure assigned tasks are completed within agreed deadlines and provide regular progress updates. • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling client financial and corporate information. Requirements • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Accountancy or a related field. • Good understanding of basic accounting and taxation principles. • Valid driver’s licence is mandatory. • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and accounting software. • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. • Ability to research, learn quickly and independently resolve routine problems. • Good organisational and time-management skills. • Willingness to handle administrative and regulatory work as required. • Previous industry experience is not required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
