UPND’s Malambo wins Kafue East seat

UPND candidate Buumba Malambo has been declared Member of Parliament-elect for Kafue East Constituency after polling 12,750 votes. Ms. Malambo defeated NRPUP candidate Sichilongo Daniel who received 7,151 votes. Kafue East Returning Officer Daffi Munganga announced the results at Kafue Day School, the constituency’s totalling centre. (the newsroom, Saturday, 15th August, 2026)
