NRPUP’s Sikazwe wins Mpulungu North seat
NATIONAL Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity candidate Freedom Sikazwe has been declared Member of Parliament-elect for Mpulungu North Constituency after polling 9,611 votes. Returning Officer Annie Malama announced the results this afternoon at the Civic Centre Totalling Centre. Mr. Sikazwe defeated UPND candidate Jobbicks Kalumba who received 6,196 votes. Returning Officer Annie Malama announced the results this afternoon at the Civic Centre Totalling Centre.
Mr. Sikazwe defeated UPND candidate Jobbicks Kalumba who received 6,196 votes. Independent candidate Martin Pende trailed with 1,811 votes.
