POLICE AWARE OF BINWELL MPUNDU VIDEO IN CIRCULATION

LUSAKA — Police have confirmed that they are aware of a video circulating involving former Nkana Member of Parliament Binwell Mpundu.

Police said they had seen the video and cautioned Mpundu against any actions that could warrant police intervention.

“We have seen Binwell Mpundu’s video,” police said.
Police further warned that Mpundu should not complain if law enforcement officers take action should the contents of the video be found to warrant further intervention.

The development comes as Zambia heads towards the August 13, 2026 General Elections, with authorities urging political players and their supporters to conduct themselves peacefully and within the law.
