NRPUP’s Phiri wins Chingola Central seat
NATIONAL Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity candidate Michelle Phiri has been elected Member of Parliament for Chingola Central Constituency after securing 21,948 votes. She defeated UPND candidate Joseph Kazhila, who polled 10,182 votes. Returning Officer Kelvin Mwenda announced the results, stating that 32,456 votes were cast, with 326 ballots rejected as invalid.
