The National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has called on law enforcement agencies to act immediately to preserve electoral integrity, alleging that presidential results are being tampered with.

In a video posted on his verified social media handle and addressed to his supporters, Mundubile raised serious allegations to the effect that presidential results are being altered.

Mundubile claimed that the G20 forms are being altered and results changed.

He stated that the forms were collected from districts before the ordinary verification process was completed.

According to Mundubile, these forms are critical in that they form the basis on which results are collected, analysed, verified and declared.

The NRPUP presidential candidate further alleged the involvement of intelligence officers who collected G20 forms.

In his address, Mundubile called for the suspension of the results of the presidential election.

He also stated that election materials must be safeguarded from unauthorized handlers.

The allegations made by Mundubile remain allegations so far and require investigations, he himself pointed out.

No additional details on the specific districts, the number of forms allegedly affected, or the identity of the intelligence officers were provided in the video.

Law enforcement agencies have not issued a statement in response to Mundubile’s call as of the time of filing this report. The Electoral Commission of Zambia has also not commented on the specific claims raised in the video.

Mundubile’s statement adds to the ongoing debate around the handling and verification of election results. The G20 forms, as highlighted by the NRPUP candidate, are a central part of the process through which polling station results are consolidated and used to declare official outcomes.

His call for immediate action by law enforcement centers on the need to preserve the integrity of the process and to ensure that materials used in the election are protected.

The demand for the suspension of the presidential election results is based on the allegations that the verification process was bypassed when the G20 forms were collected from districts.

Mundubile’s address to supporters via social media is the latest in a series of public statements by political actors regarding the presidential tally.

As it stands, the claims have not been substantiated with documentary evidence in the public domain. The allegations require investigations to establish their veracity.

The focus now turns to whether relevant authorities will respond to the call to act and to what extent the concerns raised about the handling of G20 forms and election materials will be addressed through official processes.
