NRPUP’s Mwenya Musenge wins Chimwemwe seat

NATIONAL Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity candidate Mwenya Musenge has been elected Member of Parliament for Chimwemwe Constituency after polling 17,484 votes. NATIONAL Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity candidate Mwenya Musenge has been elected Member of Parliament for Chimwemwe Constituency after polling 17,484 votes.

Musenge was declared the winner after seeing off four other contenders.

UPND candidate Mwaya Mpasa finished second with 10,880 votes. Independent Daniel Makina was third with 4,602 votes. Citizens First candidate Crispin Kabangila polled 560 votes, while Independent Patrick Simwanza received 550 votes.
