KALABA MEETS EU ELECTION MONITORS, RAISES CONCERNS
Citizens First (CF) Party President Harry Kalaba has told the European Union election observer mission that he is disappointed with the state of the electoral process.
Mr Kalaba stated that the campaign schedule set by the Electoral Commission of Zambia disadvantages opposition parties.
He added that the timetable forces opposition leaders to vacate provinces when the President or Vice President arrives.
He, however, noted that the Citizens First party held a fruitful meeting with the European Union election observer mission in Lusaka.
Mr Kalaba emphasised that democracy requires equal opportunities for all political players and pledged to continue raising these concerns.
This is contained in a statement issued by CF Presidential Team Member Bangwe Naviley Chisenga.
