STANLEY Kakubo on Monday took the oath of office as Member of Parliament for the newly created Kapiri Mposhi West Constituency.

Speaking after the swearing-in, Hon. Kakubo described the moment as “a new chapter, a continuing journey of service.”

He reflected on his political journey, having first entered Parliament in 2016 as MP for Kapiri Mposhi while in Opposition, and serving a second term in 2021.

Following the recent delimitation, Kakubo said the people of Kapiri Mposhi West had once again entrusted him with their mandate.

“Three elections. Three mandates. But one enduring purpose: to serve the people and my Country,” he said.

Kakubo pledged to serve with integrity, courage and dedication, and to work tirelessly for the development of his constituency and the nation. He thanked his family and supporters for their support.
