KABWE District Commissioner Lennox Shimwambwa has expressed concern over the failure by Kabwe Municipal Council to work on feeder roads in the district.

Mr Shimwambwa said most feeder roads remain in a deplorable state despite the local authority having access to earthmoving equipment and funding for fuel.

 “It is sad that our feeder roads in Kabwe are still in a bad state despite the council being empowered with all the necessary earthmoving equipment. Government has gone further to provide funds for fuel for the yellow machines,” Mr Shimwambwa said.

Mr Shimwambwa urged the council to improve its performance and deliver much-needed development for the benefit of residents.
