Iran Rejects Ceasefire, Says War Will Continue Until Its Security Objectives Are Achieved

Iran has rejected proposals for a ceasefire, declaring that it will continue military operations until it achieves what it describes as “complete security” and ensures that no future attacks can be carried out against the country.

According to statements attributed to General Mohammad Akraminia, Tehran has no intention of halting the conflict under current conditions. He said Iran will continue fighting “for as long as necessary” to achieve total security and prevent any new attacks.

The remarks indicate that Iran is pursuing a long-term strategy aimed at establishing a level of military deterrence strong enough to discourage the United States and Israel from launching future strikes. Iranian officials argue that ending the conflict without achieving these objectives would leave the country vulnerable to renewed attacks.

Tehran has therefore rejected the proposed ceasefire, insisting that any end to the war must occur strictly on Iran’s own terms. Iranian leaders maintain that there will be neither surrender nor a temporary truce unless their security conditions are met.
