Zambia Police Service Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi said in a statement seen by the newsroom.
In Namwala on Sept 5, an 11-month-old, Lyon Mweene, died and two adults were injured when a Honda Fit overturned due to alleged speeding.
In Chibombo also on Sept 5, pedestrian Derick Ngulube, 24, was killed in a hit-and-run by a white light truck. The driver is still being sought.
In Kitwe on Sept 4, four Volvo trucks were involved in a crash near Zamtan. One driver, Benson Banda, 28, was seriously injured.
Police have urged motorists to obey speed limits and avoid reckless driving.
