PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema urged residents of Kapiri Mposhi West to maintain support for his administration in the August elections, saying the area will continue to benefit from increased development funding.

Speaking at a meeting in the constituency, Hichilema said Kapiri Mposhi West would continue receiving attention through the increased Constituency Development Fund being rolled out nationwide. “More roads. More schools. More health facilities. More Agriculture support will continue to be delivered here,” Hichilema said. He called on residents of Mpunde and across Kapiri Mposhi West to vote for his government to prevent a return to past practices. “In order to ensure that the bad things that were being inflicted on fellow citizens by those who held public office before us, we call on you all from Mpunde, Kapiri Mposhi West to vote for us,” he said.
