Drone Strike Sparks Fire at Wildberries Distribution Center in Southern Russia

A large fire broke out at a Wildberries distribution center in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai, on 22 July 2026, following a reported long-range drone strike.

Russian authorities said the attack injured at least five people and caused significant damage to the logistics facility. Emergency services responded to the fire, while the extent of the damage is still being assessed.

Ukraine has previously argued that some large logistics hubs inside Russia are used to support military supply chains, including the storage and movement of sanctioned electronic components and other dual-use equipment. Russia, however, maintains that the facility is civilian infrastructure and condemned the strike as an attack on civilian property.

The reported strike comes amid a series of recent attacks on logistics facilities in several Russian regions. The operational role of the targeted site has not been independently verified.
