CHINESE President Xi Jinping’s special envoy, Xian Hui, will attend the inauguration of Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema’s second term on Sept. 1, Chinese officials said.

Xian, vice chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, will travel to Lusaka at the invitation of the Zambian government.

Hichilema’s inauguration is scheduled for Sept. 1 in Lusaka at Heroes Stadium.
