Job description: Job Summary The holder of this position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function. Key Responsibilities Train and deem competent the Heavy Equipment Repair Trainees Maintain oversight of trainees while on site doing their On-The-Job modules Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness Compile training reports on training outcomes Provide feedback on training progress to management Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology Maintain student training records Establish and maintain relationships with external training tools suppliers Ensure good housekeeping in the heavy equipment repair workshop and the immediate surroundings Coordinate off-site training activities for students when necessary Keep current on training design and methodology Any other duties as may be reasonably requested of you by your supervisor, in line with effective operations of the Training Department.
