JOB VACANCY: SERVICE ADVISOR Tsapo Industries Zambia Limited is a leading player in the Zambian motor industry, specializing in the sales and after-sales support of FAW Trucks, SINO Trucks, Ashok Leyland Trucks & Buses, Lovol Construction & Mining Equipment, and Golden Dragon Buses. We also provide genuine spare parts and professional workshop services for all types of commercial and passenger vehicles. We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused, and technically competent individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. Position: Service Advisor Location: Kitwe (1) and Lusaka (1) Zambia Key Responsibilities Receive customers and accurately assess their vehicle service and repair requirements. Prepare job cards, service estimates, and repair quotations. Coordinate vehicle inspections and communicate repair requirements to workshop technicians. Monitor repair progress and provide customers with regular updates. Promote workshop services, genuine spare parts, and maintenance packages to customers. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery. Liaise with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of required spare parts. Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently. Maintain accurate service records and prepare periodic service reports. Support business development initiatives aimed at increasing workshop revenue and customer retention. Minimum Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or a related field. Qualification in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the motor industry, preferably in a Service Advisor, Workshop Service Reception, or Customer Service role. Sound knowledge of commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, construction equipment, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and workshop operations. Experience in customer relationship management and after-sales service. Required Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge of motor vehicles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven sales and marketing abilities. Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills. Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customer requests. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
