About the Role: Senior HR Officer Jobs in Chingola As the Senior HR Officer, you will act as a strategic partner to line management, delivering end-to-end HR services at the site level. Key Responsibilities Partner with line management on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and talent decisions. Manage onboarding and oversee the complete employee lifecycle. Lead disciplinary and grievance procedures with fairness, consistency, and adherence to legal standards. Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and improvement initiatives. Support talent management and succession planning by identifying capability gaps and coordinating development programs. Ensure compliance with Zambian labour laws, internal policies, and audit requirements. Review and validate payroll inputs; serve as an escalation point for complex payroll issues. Maintain HR data integrity, generate reports, and provide analytics to inform business decisions. Champion initiatives that promote employee engagement, organizational culture, and inclusion. Candidate Profile and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in a generalist HR role. Proven expertise in managing complex employee relations and advising management effectively. Thorough knowledge of Zambian labour legislation and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong stakeholder influence capabilities. High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems.
