Safety Documentation Specialist Jobs in Kalumbila – Join Barrick Lumwana Mining Corporation Barrick Lumwana Mining Corporation invites applications for the position of Safety Documentation and Systems Specialist at our Kalumbila site in the North West Province of Zambia. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to support the Lumwana Expansion Project by ensuring robust safety documentation and systems are maintained to the highest standards. About the Role – Safety Documentation Specialist Jobs in Kalumbila Reporting directly to the Coordinator Safety Document – LEP, you will play a critical role in maintaining, updating, and ensuring compliance of all safety documentation and systems. Your work will embody Barrick’s core values, including integrity, accountability, and commitment to zero harm. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining accurate, current, and compliant safety documentation such as policies, procedures, and records. Ensuring safety systems—covering permits, training records, and incident reporting—operate effectively. Monitoring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. Supporting internal audits and inspections to identify and implement improvements. Providing training and support to employees regarding safety documentation and systems. Collaborating across teams to compile and update essential safety information. Managing the distribution and retrieval of safety documents to facilitate efficient record keeping. Facilitating prompt access to documentation during internal and external audits and inspections. Qualifications and Experience Required Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered: Grade 12 certificate. Minimum Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field. At least three years’ experience managing safety documentation and systems. Familiarity with safety management systems and relevant software is advantageous. Strong communication skills, capable of presenting findings and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences. Excellent written and spoken English skills. Membership in a relevant professional body. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Possession of a clean Class B or C manual driver’s license.
