About Anmut Sur Moi and Biogas Technology Zambia Biogas Technology Zambia is a pioneering, woman-led clean energy company focused on biodigester systems that convert organic waste into sustainable biogas energy and organic fertilizer. Currently, we are scaling a national project to install 2,000 biodigester plants across all ten provinces of Zambia. To support this expansion, we are enhancing our finance and human resource systems and seek talented individuals to join our team through this management trainee programme. Programme Overview: Management Trainee Jobs in Lusaka This structured programme offers two distinct tracks designed to nurture future specialists and managers: Management Trainee – Accounting Management Trainee – Human Resource Management Participants will receive mentorship from experienced professionals and progressively take on greater responsibilities based on performance. Track A: Management Trainee – Accounting Role Summary: Support core accounting operations and reporting activities while developing into a skilled accounting professional capable of supervisory and management roles. Key Responsibilities include: Assist with bookkeeping and accurate transaction posting in the accounting system. Support Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, including invoice processing and customer invoicing. Perform bank and cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized financial records to ensure audit readiness. Help prepare routine compliance schedules such as VAT, PAYE, NAPSA, and NHIMA. Contribute to monthly close activities and management report preparation. Participate in strengthening internal controls and process improvements. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (Accounting/Finance), or related field. 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, including internships or attachments. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and strong numerical accuracy. Track B: Management Trainee – Human Resource Management Role Summary: Support HR operations and gain comprehensive experience in HR practices within a growing multi-site organization, progressing toward HR officer and management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities include: Assist with recruitment administration, including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks. Support onboarding processes and employee records management ensuring confidentiality compliance. Maintain HR documentation and systems such as leave tracking and attendance registers. Collaborate with finance on payroll preparation inputs. Support performance management administration and staff welfare initiatives. Assist with HR compliance and statutory documentation relevant to Zambia. Coordinate training logistics and track attendance and outcomes. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field. 0 to 2 years of experience, including internships or attachments. Strong organizational skills, discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams across multiple sites. Familiarity with HR systems or recordkeeping tools is an advantage. General Competencies for Both Tracks High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
