Another Chance Alcohol & Drugs Rehabilitation Center in Chongwe District invites passionate, creative and skilled individuals to join its mission of restoring hope, rebuilding lives and creating another chance. The organisation is seeking a volunteer Public Relations Manager to help build relationships, share its story and connect communities to create positive change and more opportunities for rehabilitation and empowerment. ABOUT THE ORGANISATION Another Chance Alcohol & Drugs Rehabilitation Center is committed to the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals struggling with substance abuse through care, support, counselling and life-skills development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote the Centre’s mission and programmes. • Build and maintain strong relationships with the community, partners, government, media and other stakeholders. • Represent the Centre at events, meetings and community engagements. • Manage social-media platforms and other communication channels. • Prepare press releases, newsletters, reports and other publications. • Support fundraising and resource-mobilisation efforts through communication and outreach. • Monitor media coverage and protect the Centre’s reputation. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS • Grade 12 Certificate and/or a relevant qualification in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing or a related field. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience in public relations, media engagement or social-media management is an advantage. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with the public, partners, donors and stakeholders. • Creative, organised and able to work independently. • Passionate about the organisation’s mission and willing to volunteer time and talent.
