Operational Requirements – Understanding of mining legislation, SOPs and operational procedures. – Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and risk assessment methodologies. – Ability to work effectively in a diverse, cross-cultural environment. – Ability to work effectively in remote locations and diverse weather conditions. – Ability to work at a remote mining site in Zambia. – Must be comfortable travelling across First Quantum Minerals sites, local and international, when required. Experience – No prior experience required, but internship or practical experience in mining operations will be advantageous. – Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and in a team environment. – Good verbal and written communication skills. – Computer literate in Microsoft Office suite and Artificial Intelligence. – Skills in managing projects, including planning, execution and reporting. – Ability to tackle practical, production-oriented problems through mini-projects.
