About the Role Kapasa Makasa University, a Public University, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Foreman in the University. Position: Foreman Technical – Services x 1 Position. Job Purpose Supervise all construction, maintenance and electrical works on campus. Ensure safety, quality and deadlines are met. Key Duties Supervise artisans, technicians and casual workers daily. Read drawings/BOQs and ensure work meets specifications. Enforce Occupational Safety and Health Act safety and PPE use on site. Keep job cards and submit weekly/monthly reports. Inspect and certify completed work. Requirements Full Grade 12 certificate with five (5) credits or better in English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects. Craft Certificate/Diploma in Construction, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field. 3 years experience as Foreman supervising teams. Team leadership, drawing interpretation, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) knowledge. Zambian citizen registered with a regulatory body.
