Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in vehicle maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge • Clean, valid driver’s licence with a minimum of 5 years’ driving experience (manual and automatic) • Demonstrated experience driving in challenging conditions requiring 4WD • Strong written and spoken English Excellent organisational skills with a flexible and hardworking attitude • Fieldwork experience and willingness to spend extended periods in remote areas • Effective time management and planning skills • Ability to communicate in local languages • Strong alignment with SunnyMoney’s mission and social impact goals Mechanics certificate and proven work in auto mechanics Key Responsibilities 1. Logistics & Operations • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure all drivers adhere to safety standards and the Driver Policy • Monitor driver schedules and ensure timely departures, arrivals, and field coordination • Support stock handling, including loading, offloading, and daily stock counts • Ensure all vehicles are maintained in safe, reliable, and roadworthy condition at all times • Coordinate and follow up on all vehicle maintenance and repair work to ensure minimal downtime • Support basic solar repairs in the office and field (training provided) 2. Administration & Reporting • Prepare for field trips, including vehicle readiness, stock allocation, and required documentation • Maintain accurate records including vehicle logs, stock movement, and repair documentation • Ensure strict adherence to the Driver Policy at all times • Compile and submit monthly reports covering mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle performance/issues • Ensure monthly inspections are conducted and documented for all vehicles • Obtain and manage quotations for vehicle repairs and maintenance • Carry out office errands and provide general administrative and logistical support as required. 3. Fleet & Driver Management • Oversee full vehicle lifecycle management including maintenance, compliance, and operational readiness • Ensure all vehicles are inspected before and after each trip using standard checklists • Maintain regular communication with field drivers to proactively identify and resolve issues • Monitor GPS tracking systems to ensure compliance and efficiency • Ensure all regulatory requirements (road tax, fitness, insurance) are valid and up to date • Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness, safety, and presentation 4. Sales & Customer Support • Support field teams with sales activities and fault resolution when required • Deliver excellent customer service in both office and field settings Please ensure you have the proper qualifications before applying.
