Position Overview: Chinese English Translator Jobs in Mununga The successful candidate will play a vital role in bridging language gaps on site by providing live interpretation and document translation services. You will facilitate smooth daily operations by ensuring clear communication of technical instructions, safety protocols, and administrative documents. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and safety of our mining and construction activities. Key Responsibilities Live Interpretation: Translate conversations, technical discussions, and safety briefings between Chinese supervisors and Zambian employees in real time. Document Translation: Accurately translate site reports, emails, contracts, and operational manuals from Chinese to English and vice versa. Site Liaison: Coordinate daily work schedules and assist in resolving communication challenges to maintain a productive work environment. Candidate Requirements Language Proficiency: Fluent spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English are essential. Relevant Experience: Previous translation experience in mining, construction, or manufacturing sectors is advantageous. Adaptability: Must be willing to live and work full-time in a remote location, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
