CHOPPIES SOLWEZI REGION JOB VACANCIES Job Role: Butchery Assistant Responsibilities: To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service. Assist in cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards Serving customers; weighing and packaging meat and giving advice on preparation and cooking Making sure work areas are kept clean at all times Sharpening and cleaning knives and operating cutting machinery Displaying produce in windows or cabinets Maintaining cleanliness in the work area, assisting with customer service, and ensuring proper labeling and display of meat cuts in the store Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Butchery production certification 1–2 yrs of experience in butchery production Basic knowledge in butchery food preparation Good communication and problem solving skills Physical fitness and ability to work at heights Candidate should be medically fit Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications: Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stay calm and focused Inter-personal Skills Supervisory skills – ability to train Employees to use time efficiently and to be uncompromising regarding service delivery Physical Exam Required: Medical Report & Police Clearance Closing Date: 17th July, 2026.
