Job Description We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious Biker/Delivery Rider to join our operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the prompt, safe, and efficient transport of goods and documents across local routes. Operating a company-provided motorcycle, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high service standards, route accuracy, and overall client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Safe Delivery Operations: Safely navigate local routes to ensure timely, accurate, and secure deliveries to clients and business locations. Vehicle Care & Maintenance: Operate and care for the company-provided motorcycle in strict compliance with road safety laws, conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Package Integrity & Verification: Verify delivery details, handle parcels with care to prevent loss or damage, and obtain proper proof of delivery upon handover. Communication & Coordination: Maintain clear, prompt, and professional communication with dispatchers, managers, and clients regarding order statuses or route delays. Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, navigation guidelines, road traffic regulations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate physical or digital logs of daily completed deliveries, fuel usage, mileage, and general operational activities. Incident Reporting: Report any traffic incidents, vehicle faults, or customer service issues immediately to management. Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Licensing & Identity: Must be a Zambian citizen with a valid Zambian Driver’s Licence (properly endorsed for motorcycles). Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of active, professional riding experience. Education: Full Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics. Equipment: Motorbike will be provided by the company. Route Knowledge: Demonstrated familiarity with navigating local city routes, shortcuts, residential areas, and commercial hubs. Personal Attributes High sense of responsibility, personal integrity, and dependability. Strong spatial awareness and route-planning ability. Punctual, disciplined, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision. Clear verbal communication and good interpersonal skills. High attention to detail regarding cargo handling and document verification.
