This full-time position based in Lusaka reports to the Commerce and Services Officer/Manager and involves close collaboration with marketing and operations teams. Key Responsibilities for Assistant Customer Service Admin Jobs in Lusaka Customer Support: Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, live chat, and social media platforms. Assist buyers and sellers with account registration, advert posting, login troubleshooting, and platform navigation. Resolve complaints professionally and escalate complex issues appropriately. Educate users on safe buying and selling practices and follow up to ensure issue resolution. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate customer records, assist with data entry, and prepare service performance reports. Monitor advertisements to identify suspicious or fraudulent listings and coordinate with relevant teams. Marketplace Monitoring: Review and approve product or service listings, enforce marketplace standards, and support user verification processes. Report technical or operational challenges to management promptly. Communication and Coordination: Maintain professional interactions with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Assist in organizing promotional campaigns and provide daily operational updates to supervisors. Qualifications and Skills Required Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Customer Service, Marketing, ICT, Front Office, Public Administration, or related fields. Grade 12 Certificate is mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to manage customer complaints with professionalism and tact. Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Knowledge of social media platforms is an advantage. Honest, reliable, and customer-oriented personality. Working Conditions and Expectations Primarily office-based with occasional remote support duties. May require weekend or flexible shifts depending on marketplace activity. Interaction with customers across Zambia, including potential travel to provinces and districts for official duties.
