ZAMBIANS WANT MUNDUBILE, DECLARES LUCKY MULUSA.

Former Minister of National Development and Planning Lucky Mulusa says Zambians want Brian Mundubile to lead the country after the August 2026 General Election.

And Mr. Mulusa has accused President Hakainde Hichilema of neglecting North-Western Province while only making promises and telling lies.

Mr. Mulusa, who is a former Member of Parliament for Solwezi Central and former Special Assistant to the President for Projects and Monitoring, said President Hichilema should have been worried about campaigning in North-Western Province because, according to him, he lied to the people of the province.

The former lawmaker further said President Hichilema’s so-called political “bedroom” in Solwezi has now been turned into a passage.

He said Solwezi has become the first among many parts of Zambia to reject President Hichilema and the UPND because the province has allegedly been neglected.

“According to the UPND and Hakainde Hichilema, Solwezi has been their bedroom. But how can you claim it is your bedroom when you are not taking care of it? You are not changing the bedsheets, blankets, or mattresses, yet you still claim it is your bedroom?” he wondered.

“Today we have turned their bedroom upside down. We will eventually take over that bedroom because they are not taking care of it. But for now, we are in the passage so that we can change everything in the bedroom before we occupy it,” he said.

“Zambians have agreed to give Brian Mundubile the mandate to lead this country. He is the best candidate, and everyone agrees right now. We will ensure that, as a province, we give Brian Mundubile 100 percent of the vote in Solwezi while encouraging others across the country to do the same,” he said.

Mr. Mulusa was speaking in Solwezi during the NRPUP mega rally.
