The Zambia Association of Musicians, ZAM, announced the passing on, saying the music fraternity mourns alongside the award-winning singer and producer during this painful period.
In a statement, ZAM publicity secretary Edmond Mbanga Miti said the association’s executive and entire membership were “deeply saddened” by Sharai’s death.
“The Zambia Association of Musicians Executive and the entire membership are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mrs Sharai Mulonda Mulenga, the beloved wife of prominent Zambian musician, songwriter and producer Mr Richard Mulenga, popularly known as T-Sean,” Miti said.
ZAM said its thoughts and prayers were with T-Sean and the Mulonda and Mulenga families as they grieve.
The association appealed to musicians, fans and members of the public to keep T-Sean in their prayers and offer him comfort during the difficult time.
ZAM said details regarding funeral gatherings and burial arrangements would be communicated in due course.
