The Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) has joined the nation in mourning the passing of Mrs. Sharai Mulonda Mulenga, the beloved wife of award-winning Zambian musician, songwriter and producer Richard Mulenga, popularly known as T-Sean.

In an official statement issued by the association, ZAM described the news as a heartbreaking loss, extending its heartfelt condolences to T-Sean, the Mulonda and Mulenga families, as well as their loved ones during this difficult time.

The association said the entire ZAM Executive and membership were deeply saddened by the passing of Mrs. Mulenga and pledged their support to one of Zambia’s most celebrated music icons as he grieves the loss of his wife.

“Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to T-Sean, the Mulonda and Mulenga families and their loved ones,” the statement read.

ZAM further urged members of the music fraternity, fans and the general public to stand in solidarity with T-Sean by offering prayers, words of comfort and encouragement as he navigates one of the most painful moments in his life.

The association noted that it stands “shoulder-to-shoulder” with the musician during his time of grief and appealed for continued support from fellow artists and well-wishers across the country.

While confirming the passing, ZAM indicated that details regarding the funeral gathering and burial arrangements would be communicated to the public at a later stage.

The association concluded its message by praying for strength and comfort for the bereaved family.

“May Almighty God grant our brother and the bereaved family strength and solace, and may her soul rest in eternal peace,” the statement added.
