MUKUKA CALLS FOR DR GUY SCOTT TO BE BURIED AT UNUSED LUNGU’S GRAVE

Zambia’s renowned Youth advocate Tiza Mukuka has called on the Zambian authorities to consider burying former President Dr Guy Scott at the presidential gravesite that had previously been prepared for former President Edgar Lungu but remains unused.

In a statement he issued to The Zambian Post, Mukuka said Dr Scott, who once served as President of Zambia, deserves a dignified state burial in keeping with the office he held.

He argued that since the gravesite prepared for the late former President Edgar Lungu was never used, it should instead be allocated for Dr Scott as a mark of respect and in line with national precedent for former Heads of State and Dr Scott once served as President.

Mukuka concluded his message by expressing condolences, saying, “May his soul rest in peace.”
