Thousands of Chinsali residents have turned up for Tonse PF-Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu, as if politically endorsing them for the highest office in the land.

Before proceeding to the rally venue, the two leaders paid a courtesy call on His Royal Highness Senior Chief Nkula of the Bemba-speaking people of Chinsali District.

“We are coming from paying a courtesy call on His Royal Highness Senior Chief Nkula of the Bemba-speaking people of Chinsali District.

“We are now proceeding to engage with the people of Chinsali as we continue sharing our vision for a better Zambia,” Mundubile posted.

Apparently, Tonse Pamodzi Alliance Chairperson for Elections Japhen Mwakalombe says the alliance’s manifesto offers hope to Zambians through improved economic management, food security, tourism growth and a reliable energy supply

Speaking when he featured on a local radio station in Chongwe, recently Mwakalombe said it is gratifying that people are voluntarily attending rallies in numbers without being induced by a “Musical Concert”.

He said the people are interested in listening to self-less leaders like Mundubile and Zulu as they roll out the workable plans they have for Zambia.

Mwakalombe has therefore urged the people of Chongwe and other parts of the country to vote for Mundubile and all the candidates under Tonse Pamodzi Alliance.

He said the concentration is not on figures but ensuring that people’s needs are met under a stable economy that reflects in the daily lives of Citizens.

He said the the new Govermment will compel all investors operating in Zambia to pay taxes in accordance with the country’s laws.

“We believe food security is important. In the energy sector we will invest in storage infrastructure. How can a country experience load-shedding for four years? We do not just want figures. We want those figures to translate into improvements in the lives of the people. The environment is not yet conducive for Zambians to fully enjoy the benefits of development. Tonse Alliance means well for the country,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mwakalombe has observed that development has lagged behind in Chongwe District in the last four and half years.

He said under the Tonse Pamodzi Alliance government will ensure that development is distributed equitably across all districts.

“Over the years I had the opportunity to work with the people of Chongwe to bring development. What we need now is to ensure that the Zambian people can see and benefit in terms of development..
….. You cannot have a country without billionaires. We will ensure that the country’s resources benefit the people. Infrastructure is lagging behind while the population continues to grow,” he said.
