Trump Announces ‘Historic’ Venezuela Oil Deal in Potential Blow to Gulf Oil Producers

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the conclusion of what he described as a “historic” oil deal with Venezuela, claiming the agreement would allow the United States to gain access to a massive share of Venezuela’s oil reserves  reportedly up to 65 billion barrels.
