PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has assured the people of Mporokoso District in Northern Province that government will continue delivering development, with a focus on roads and job creation.

Addressing thousands of residents, President Hichilema thanked them for turning up in large numbers.

“We will continue developing Mporokoso in Northern Province. Thank you very much to our people for coming in thousands today,” he said.

The President urged residents to vote for the UPND in order to protect the gains made so far.

“Our call is that go and vote for the UPND so that together we can continue protecting the gains made. Roads and roads. Yes, we shall work on these among many other infrastructures. Jobs will continue being delivered for all,” he said.

He further cautioned the electorate against going back to leaders who put self-interest first.

“Don’t go back to those who have placed self interest before you. Thank you mwebena Mporokoso,” he added.
