President Hakainde Hichilema and First Lady Mutinta Hichilema today paid their last respects to former Vice-President Dr. Guy Scott during the State Funeral Service held at the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka.

The Head of State and the First Lady joined family members, government officials, diplomats, political leaders and members of the public in honouring the late former Vice-President, who died on July 15 at the age of 82.

Dr. Scott served as Zambia’s Vice-President from 2011 to 2014 under the late President Michael Sata and later became Acting President following President Sata’s death.
