POLICE CONFIRM ADDITIONAL SEDITIOUS PRACTICES CHARGE AGAINST MUNDUBILE AND MAKEBI ZULU

The Zambia Police Service wishes to inform members of the public that Mr. Brian Mundubile and Mr. Makebi Zulu were today, 11th September, 2026, at around 11:45 hours, formally arrested and jointly charged at Kabwe Central Police Station with the offence of Seditious Practices, contrary to Section 57 of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia

They have since been returned to Mukobeko Maximum Correctional Facility, where they are being held pending further police procedures and their appearance before court.

The Zambia Police Service reiterates its commitment to maintaining law and order, upholding the rule of law, and ensuring that all matters are handled fairly, professionally, and in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
