POLICE have arrested and jointly charged Tonse Alliance president Brian Mundubile and vice president Makebi Zulu with seditious practices.

Zambia Police Service Assistant Public Relations Officer Timothy Malumo said the two have been returned to Mukobeko Maximum Correctional Facility, where they are being held pending further police procedures and a court appearance.

Malumo said police remain committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring that all matters are handled fairly, professionally and in accordance with the laws of Zambia.

“The Zambia Police Service reiterates its commitment to maintaining law and order, upholding the rule of law, and ensuring that all matters are handled fairly, professionally, and in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia,” Malumo said.
